I think this fun activity idea could be an all-time favorite for a lot of mommies, unless you hate it when someone cuts your magazines in pieces! But think of it this way: it’s either your magazine or your hair (I cut my mom’s hair once while she was asleep, so I know what I’m talking about).
You can have your toddler prepare you (or an entire family) a paper meal.
Here’s how you do it. Go through some magazines together and look for pictures of food or products that might look good on a plate. Cut the pictures out. Mix and match to come up with meals. You can supervise the mixing and matching or help with the first plate leaving the rest up to your toddler. They like some independence, so it might be a good idea to let them feel like they’re chefs in a restaurant. Then have your toddler glue the pictures to paper plates and serve your meals.
