The Trueheat series is adventure fantasy, which follows a young boy and his older brothers in the Land of Stories. The original “Trueheart” book was published in 2007, and a second book, “Tom Trueheart and the Land of Dark Stories,” was published last year. I haven’t ever read either of these, and to be honest, they never came across my radar until I saw the announcement for the movie! Whoops lol. But for those of you who have read the series, and have young ones familiar with the book, you can now look forward to the first live-action film, based on the 2007 book “The Secret History of Tom Trueheart,” which is targeted for a mid-2010 start. I would assume that it would be out in 2011, but hey, don’t quote me on that.The author Beck is working on a third adventure, “Tom Trueheart and the Land of Myths and Legends.”
