Karami joined the SuperMom team in May, and is looking forward to sharing her point of view on everything ranging from her fascination to natural stones and their healing properties, to her life as a single mom to her son Deklen.
She is an active mom who has tackled 3 day walkathons for Breast Cancer Research and for some crazy reason enjoys her treadmill and running. She works a full time job for a home builder during the day and at night is not only taking care of her son, but also playing mom to an adorable Westie terrier and a Scottie-wannabe.
Her guilty pleasures include gardening, Nora Roberts books, going to garage sales every chance she gets and movies galore on her “far too big for a girl” television.
Kandice is the busy mom of two gorgeous twin girls who has been kind enough to share some of her spare time with us by writing about what makes her tick as a mom and her adventures in the land of twin toddlers.
Her interests lie in discovering the healthiest recipes possible for versions of everyday fare for her kids, antiquing with a vengance and interacting with other parents who have multiples. In her rarest of spare time, she loves hopping onto the motorcycle with her husband and escaping for a ride into the wild blue yonder, even if its just for a few hours.
She enjoys a nice glass of wine and a good book from Oprah’s bookclub at the end of her busy days, or indulging in watching TV shows from first season to last on DVD, because who on earth has time to watch something weekly? (we need to buy her a PVR)
Karlynn is a self-professed java-junkie mom to two fantastic kids that make her life a song daily. Somedays its a pop-sugar top 10 beat, and others its a heavy metal thrasher dirge, but always a song, nonetheless. She works part-time at a hospital during some evenings and weekends, but during the days can be found at home with the kids,volunteering at her son’s school or spending time with her daughter.
She founded the site to give herself an outlet to blog about the news that interests her as a means to share it with everyone else, which has now expanded to two more writers and several guest contributors in the works.
She is an avid gardener and loves puttering around her yard and flowerbeds, and is getting closer everyday to being a real “green thumb”. She loves a good curry and a movie as her top pick for a night out.
