Our whole family loves Playmobil. One of our favorite wind-down activities to do with the kids is to take out a few sets and play on the carpet in our living room until bedtime. Its calm, its darn funny (let’s just say we have all the right figures to make the Village People, and my children now know the words to YMCA) and its easy quality family time.

A big hit with us are the Dino sets they have, we own the exploding volcano,better known as “Triceratops and baby” on the site, as well as the “Brachiosaurus in rocky territory”. The best part is that I think they came with one gun total between the two sets. Sometimes Playmobil sets can literally come with figures armed to the teeth, something that we don’t have in our house. Yet. Soon enough, I am sure, but for now, my 3 and 5 year old do not need toy guns. So we were more than happy to see these sets came with so few weapons, you can kick dino booty without pointing a gun at them methinks.
