Since we were crazy and pushed ourselves to get here early, we were able to get up…have breakfast….and then do something touristy for the morning. We only had a few hours until we had to meet Mike at the airport, so we decided to go to the most famous bridge in the world, the Golden Gate. The last time I was in San Francisco, I was too small to remember much, so I am having the time of my life exploring as an adult with my own kids.
The bridge itself is awe-inspiring, as well as having a little tourist area around it with nice flowers and views to take pictures of course. We had a really great time poking around, taking pictures, getting post cards to send to our friends and grabbing a Starbuck coffee. If I didn’t know that Starbucks was Seattle based (I am pretty sure it is) I would guess it started here, there is one on every bloomin’ corner, I swear!
The kids and Papa having a blast together.
By the boardwalk at the hotel with Papa. Can you tell who takes the pictures? There will be more with me and the kids, we just picked up Mike now, there’s someone else to man the camera.
