Try visiting between Nov and April no fog and a greet view from twin peeks the highest place in San Francisco. You can see the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island and much much more. As a teacher I've been wanting to check out the Academy for a while now but the price has so far been a deterrent...but, you do point out that for $25 it's a full day's worth of entertainment. I suppose I could also go on 3rd Wednesday, when it's free to the public, but it's likely to be a mad house.
