Hysteria Hospital – Emergency Ward is published by Oxygen Games and places you in the role of a nurse in an emergency ward of a busy hospital.
Your objective?
Ensure that your patients are served, diagnosed and treated before the waiting room fills up and is overrun. Make money when they are happy and load up on equipment to keep the flow of patients coming through.
Rated E, this game is great for kids and with 60 levels will keep you entertained for quite some time. It includes 7 different hospitals and tons of upgrades that can be purchased as you progress. Design the perfect hospital and maintain the flow as patients pile in for their diagnosis and treatments.
The game is very reminiscent of The Sims but for the obvious change of environment and situations. In a similar manner patients thought bubbles are triggers as to their thoughts and the next actions you should take. Picking up patients and moving them around is fun as you watch them dangle.
My son got a great kick out of the bandaging up of the patients who end up on the hospital bed and the sound effects are entertaining as well. I got a kick out of actually playing hospital without having to set foot in one to go to work.
Overall, it’s an enjoyable game that will keep you occupied for quite some time and is a great addition to the family game night.
Stay tuned for a couple more reviews this week, then we will be giving away a few copies of the games next week!
