Well the weather may be absolutely, 100% bi-polar, sun-to-wind-to-rain-to-blazing-sun again, but we are managing to get some things on my list accomplished. Yesterday before I went to work we painted the rabbit hutch all morning, with the last coat literally 1 hour before I had to dash into work. Today the kids finished their sign for the hutch, there was a rectangular piece of wood left over from building the front cover and Kade grabbed it exclaiming ” this is a perfect sign for Scooby’s house!” and the idea was born.
When my dad was up, he shingled the roof of it with leftover house shingles that he had, and enclosed the front. The entire thing was open mesh on the front side, and just a plywood roof.
So here is a before pic, doesn’t show the plain roof but you get the idea. We bought it secondhand off of Kijiji, love that site!
And after the Rabbit Reno’s! Its certainly not perfect, but its definitely been given a second life!
I’m sure the kids definitely had fun.
