Natural Sunscreen Review: Sunumbra

sunumbra

Thanks to the lovely people at Sunumbra, I was sent a sample of their new sunscreen to try out and review.

So of course, I had to put it through the best test of all: children’s soccer. Why not put it through one of the toughest tests there is, from sweating and overheating little bodies, to grassy knees rubbing off the sunscreen to water sloshed out of water bottles washing it off possibly.

First, it goes on like a dream. It is an amazingly smooth, non-greasy and non-sticky sunscreen and absolutely fabulous to put on squirmy children. An A+ for ease of application and feel. This is an important one in our family, my husband hates the feel of sunscreen on his hands and admittedly I can’t stand that coating that stays on your hands after apply it to 8 legs, 8 arms and 4 necks in our family.

The smell is very mild and makes this a great sunscreen for those who don’t like perfumed products.

It lasted the kids through their soccer games, not a sunburn to be found. I can truly say that I am glad I was sent this product to review and will use it all summer long!

The SPF is 30+ and the UVA rating is high. You can find more information on their website, www.sunumbra.com.

The sunscreen retails for $29.95 and can be purchased through their website as well.

This is the first Sunscreen that I've found that I can put on my arms (I am full of skin-c problems) and put my watch on and not be worried that some gooey stuff stays under my watch. It's the best I've found after trying lots and lots – and my kids like it too because it's quick to put on when they are in a rush to get into that water!
