Easy Morning Craft : Styrofoam Airplane

This…was….so….easy…that it shouldn’t even qualify as as craft, but the serious entertainment value here is worth posting. Kade played with this silly little thing until he broke it, he thought it was the greatest thing ever, and, it was his idea. I had kept some styrofoam trays for them to craft with, with my idea being that you glue items in the square, then hang it like a picture. Nope. He wouldn’t have a thing to do with that craft, no matter how many sparkly things I tried to entice him with…oooh look, you can glue a sequin, but he’s not as much a magpie as his mother is, I guess.

He took one look at the styrofoam, turned it around a few times, and said “can you draw an airplane that I can cut out?” and that was it. And then I had peace and quiet for half an hour. Bliss.
