Easy Morning Craft : Everything Bracelet

This crafty idea came from the Children’s Museum in San Jose when Mike took the kids there. It personifies a simple craft, yet its so entertaining for the kids. All you need is tape and imagination! Take a piece of masking tape, and put it sticky side out around your child’s wrist. Then let your child stick random craft items, or, as you can see in the picture taken of Kade’s masterpiece, have a couple containers of appropriate sized items to stick on it. The leaves and little flowers worked incredibly well, so taking a few lilac blossoms this time of year, (in my area at least) and some leaves would make such a gorgeous and fun little bracelet for them! If you are lucky enough to live where roses are already blooming, the petals are excellent for sticking to the tape, as well as the added bonus of a beautiful smell.

There are a multitude of items other than flowers that would work, small feathers, pom poms, sequins, the possiblities are endless with this! I personally prefer the outside items after being stuck inside all winter, the kids playing outside while crafting is my idea of a good time.

What a terrific idea. Thanks so much for sharing this. Our VBS is expecting rain tonight and I need and inexpensive indoor (or outdoor) craft idea.

We did this for Vaction Bible School “Cook Off” with old spices. It was so inexpensive and a big hit with the kids. They made braclets for their wrist and wanted to do it again for their ankles. Thanks
