This is a favorite around our house, especially since my son attends an Art Core school, and thus activities like this are encouraged and actively done there. Surprisingly he doesn’t get bored of them, but actually comes home and teaches his little sister the activities he learns (and myself, I might add)
Materials needed: crayons, sheet of paper and music. Choose some music (we happened to have Mozart playing on our TV classical channel) and color what you feel. This is actually a fun one to do as an adult..and a very peaceful craft in the morning…the kids quietly (I can’t believe I used “quiet” and “my kids” in the same sentence) colored and we all listened. And I happened to have my coffee in my hand. Blisssssssful!
