Children’s DVD Review: Bob the Builder Heavy Duty Diggers

Bob The Builderª: Heavy Duty Diggers DVD Box Art

Heavy Duty Builders, although done in new CG animation, is still the Bob that kids adore. But due to the CG animation, the machines are far more interesting for kids to watch. Their movements, and Bob’s included, are more fluid instead of jerky, and their faces are more animated than ever. Eyes blink and move, mouths form words and emotions are expressed more visually than ever.

The underlying themes of teamwork, problem resolution and friendship are still the main focus, the themes that made Bob a hit with parents and children alike in the first place. As always, the team works together to complete their projects and solve their problems using their heads and hearts.
