September 14, 2009 by Karlynn Johnston

This book is full of the musings and questions of a small girl wondering the hows, whys and wheres of Tomorrow, and the concept of arriving There. How will she get There? How long will it take? And most importantly, is she allowed to bring Teddy as well?

“When will I get There?”

“How will I know? Will there be a sign that says “Here is There?”

The real stars of this book are the simple illustrations in comforting earth and pastel colors that set the perfect tone for this book. By not using harsh colors the author has achieved almost what you could call a state of serenity while you read this book, you are comforted and comfortable, relaxed, and ready to read the quite deep and meaningful questions the little girl is asking. While most children may think that the questions are cute and silly, the adults reading this book soon realize the reality and the depth of the questions the little girl ponders through the pages.
