I adore Ladybug girl, she’s a strong, adventurous, compassionate girl who is a great role model for young girls. She has superpowers, she rights wrong where she finds it, she makes sure that everyone is included in her adventures, yet is still a human little girl too, who can get cross until she figures out a solution to some of her problems.
In this book, she meets a boy named Sam at the park, who doesn’t want to do the same things she does. Until, of course, she mentions that when she is Ladybug Girl, she has superpowers! Sam, who just happens to be wearing a striped shirt, is immediately dubbed Bumble Bee Boy, and away they go, saving the dog from a terrible squirrel, the entire town from a robot, and ending up with a team of bug super-kids!
