Low Maintenance Garden is a lovely little book full of sage gardening advice, plus a wealth of tips and tricks. This is a a perfect guide for the beginner gardener, or a great refresher for someone like me who simply forgets.
I do. I forget my soil basics, I forget what I should be amending and where. Sometimes my gray matter’s capacity level has reached its max and things simply get dropped from my memory. Gardening related things usually are the first to go.
The section titled How to Plant is a wonderful guide, showing readers how to plant everything from trees, or a slow growing hedge to creating container arrangements. Beautiful photos aid in the instructing of the projects the entire way.
If you are just starting gardening, this would be the book for you, but even an intermediate gardener such as myself needs a reminder guide and inspiration to try new things once in a while.
